If I don't mistake that age of problem ofadobe and ff performance is around 3 years. Or two years.
On windows OS all're ok, but on the Linux' OS if I install adobe flash and run ff so I'll have problems with work of that and other browsers. browser begins to brake.
I have not very power machine (Arch Linux x86_64 on AMD Phenom core-quad 9550 4 GB of ram (800 mhz)) and if I do it so I'm watching a slideshow.
For example, tab switching takes about a half of minute and cpu load about 50%.
I could neglect to do something and users from way back use that one and haven't any problems. If it's right so correct me.
And a second question. If there're right so what are shadings of problem and what to do.
Thanks and exuse me. I know that my english is the worst ![]()

He was saying that have a simular problem also. In Russia is inet resource as vkontakte.ru
as example. Engines of audio players, video ones and some forms are wrote on that adobe flash. If he turns on adobe flash that a half of that one are watched as black screen in the browser and theres's not sound and sometimes all're ok.
I think he uses gnash and not adobe flash.. (maybe)..

Can you download the Flash video file? Usually it is not very difficult to download a Flash video file. After you download the file, then you can use a fast video player. (for example, "mplayer") Examples:
Do you use the Adobe Flash plugin? Sometimes you can find the video file on your computer. In Firefox "pause" the video. Look on your computer in "/tmp" for a file named "FlashXXXX". (or similar) That is the video file. You can play the file using "mplayer".
Do you use "gnash" or "swfdec"? You can "right click" on the video and download it. It is not very difficult.
Do you use YouTube? Change the URL from "www.youtube.com/watch..." to "www.youtubemp4.com/watch...". The video is easy to download.
Please use Google to learn about downloading Facebook video.
If you have a question about it, please ask!
I hate Flash.
Good luck! ![]()

Adobe flash isn't only video. There's example: http://imagevenue.com/ or http://rapidshare.com/ resources. Also some resources use adobe flash for filling some web forms.
And films I can download very just. Using adblock plus and when I press block button that I see swf links on some page.
Also my girl like inet games that use flash engines. It's her matter. She uses macbook but sometimes work on my machine. But I understand - If that problem isn't not only my headaches that it's not resolved for all.
On a string I use virtualbox and the end.

I get so annoyed w/ flash that sometimes I will start the video, pause it, then do in terminal:
mplayer /tmp/Flash*
Might be stupid but works for me.
looks like someone beat me to it ^^^

I rarely can read flash with Firefox, but with Chromium, it works flawlessly

I don't dispute that flash under linux is an exceptional piece of crap, but it plays fine for me in Opera and Firerox. I understand that you have Arch64, are you sure that you use native 64bit flash and plugin, not a 32bit plugin through a wrapper?

Yes, I'm. There's a native one. Not 32'bit emulation.
yaourt -Ss adobe
extra/flashplugin 10.0.42.34-1 [installed]

I think that Adobe doesn't want debug them code for quality because Linux OS are used around ~3% of people. I tested the all versions of adobe flash
