[SOLVED]Netcfg2 auto-connect

I've been using netcfg for quite some time now, but even with the newest version auto-connect isn't working for me. I've added two profiles to my rc.conf and it connects to one of them in maybe one time out of ten. This is not a very good statistic if you ask me. Maybe I did something wrong??

Re: [SOLVED]Netcfg2 auto-connect

It could be usefull if you gave us some more info, how about your rc.conf and the network configuration files.

That sounds wrong.

Pleas include your complete setup: rc.conf + profiles

Re: [SOLVED]Netcfg2 auto-connect

Trust me there's nothing wrong with my rc.conf or profiles. The profiles work, because when I run netcfg manually everything works fine. The problem is probably in the net-profiles daemon, because I've backgrounded it during the boot. The approach where you need to wait 10 or more seconds for wireless network authentication during the boot process is stupid if you ask me... If the daemon runs normaly it connects to the network...

Re: [SOLVED]Netcfg2 auto-connect

Yeah that is the solution. Net-auto-wireless is only needed wink
