I'm trying to get the net-auto-wired daemon to start up a network profile for my office, which contains configuration of a static IP, before it tries my home ethernet profile that uses dhcp.
In /etc/ifplugd/netcfg.action, it is hard coded to first try to connect to an ethernet profile (in /etc/network.d/) that has IP='dhcp' and only trying profiles with static IP's after.
Is there a way to specify the order of profiles that the net-auto-wired and net-auto-wireless daemons use? I don't want to choose from a list at boot.
EDIT: Looking at the git comments both the static ip issue and configuring a preferred connection have been addressed in the latest code. Now just waiting for the release.
