Not much is new. I'm moving away from KDE, one app at a time. I now use Mutt for mail (not pictured here) because I can't stand Akonadi. My goal is to relieve my system from it by the summer.

@teh - is your statusbar up top straight dwm with some font magic, or is that a dzen or some such bar overlaid on it to the right?

Could you share your .Xdefaults colorscheme ?

I actually use Konsole (again, I'm trying to get away from KDE, so I plan to replace it with the XFCE terminal or urxvt), but here are the colors I use:
Color Regular Intense
------------------------
Black: #1B1D1E #343737
Red: #F92673 #FF5996
Green: #86B413 #B8E354
Yellow: #FDB436 #FEED6A
Blue: #55C5D6 #8CEEFF
Magenta: #8952FE #9C6EFE
Teal: #465457 #899CA1
Gray: #CCCCC7 #FFFFFF
Foreground: #FFFFFF
Background: #000000 (semi-transparent)
This is somewhat modeled after the Dante Vim theme with my own additions.
Also, I updated my screenshot a bit to make it a little busier.
Edit: also, for those interested, my Vim scheme is Lucius with some modifications to the completion list, etc.
Edit 2: I was tired of my MOC theme being ugly, so I fixed up all the colors and made the keymap vim-like:

I've returned for gnome for now. At least until I get bored with it again
I don't remember where I got the wallpaper. Other than that I just made the panels a little transparent and use the Crux icon theme.
Btw the quake-like terminal in the screenshot is Stjerm. Other programs active are firefox and claws-mail.
EDIT: I've uploaded the wallpaper for your convenience. (btw. this is the only resolution I have.)

Can you upload that wall?

using ion3 from darcs again, i can't stay away. it does everything i want exactly how i want. the only thing is that the default keybindings are a little goofy, which is probably why some people shy away from it, but i took the liberty of finally changing all the keys to be more vim-like, though almost impossible since ion has so many of them

Wow! I was going to give Xmonad a try but it wants to pull in 110MB of stuff to do it. That's bigger than Chromium was.
