Problem surfing the web with Arch, no problem with XP

Hi,

I'm using Archlinux for a while and always found the solutions to my problem thanks to the forums, the wikis and google. About my problem with surfing the web, i've been searching and trying countless of solutions without any success.

I use Firefox, Chrome, Opera but the problem is always the same, sometimes i can almost surf the web, sometimes it's a real nightmare.
Sometimes the pages load very slowly, sometimes it doesn't load at all

I set up Windows XP on a Virtualbox, and my surf is perfect with Chrome, Firefox and IE

So the problem is the connection, i'm trying wifi or line, wicd or networkmanager, but the problem is always there...

Very weird, i've been using different distros of linux for 6 years and i never got these problems. I'm using Arch for almost 2 years.

My wife using ubuntu has the same problem.

I'm going on the internet in my house, in my office, in restaurants, etc etc, and the problem is always the same.

Don't know what to do now, any help would be very welcome.

Thank you

check your default gateway, as well as primary dns server, i m guessing that the xp machine is in bridged mode, the most likely problem is a slow dns server, try using opendns ip's for a while, see if they help.
