mysqp + phpmyadmin + drupal [solved]

Hello,

I'ld like to install drupal but I'm blocked at the database configuration.

I've done lots of thing but I'm not able to get it working properly.
I've recently reinstalled mysql and phpmyadmin.
I've setup the installation with the mysql_secure_installation script
I've followed the wiki page about phpmyadmin

now when I go to loclahost/phpmyadmin, I've the interface to log in but nothing happens when I put my login and pass

edit : after a few tries, I could go into phpmyadmin and create my database drupal but now when I'm the drupal's database configuration, nothing happens when I put the information, I go back to the same page with no error message. (I've an error message, if I put wrong informations)

edit' : ok it seems to be a drupal problem (here), I fixed it by setting manually the informations in the setting.php file
