<Solved> netconfig net-profiles

I set it up according to the wiki. It does not work on startup or by running from the commandline.

This script will, however, get my wireless going Edit: But, I have to refresh every page once to view it.

And what happens when you do a
sudo netcfg wpa_suppl
?

If that doesn't work, something is wrong with your profile (I'd guess it is your wpa_supplicant.conf)

IIRC, net-profiles is obsolete now (as of netcfg v2.5) and replaced by net-auto-wired and net-auto-wireless

/EDIT - ok, it's not obsolete, but I remember switching net-profiles for net-auto-wireless.

What's the contents of your /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf file? (remember you probably want to hide the key(s)).

edit: I just wanted to make sure to mention that the ( and ) are not there on the 2nd psk line. I am not sure why I included them.

Try inserting this line at the top:

ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicant GROUP=wheel
