Come on man, this is the internet. We can take it.
Ya, I know. I just try to not put up NSFW stuff most of the time.

Nice wallpaper Link please?
Sure! I am glad I decided to look back in on this thread, I usually don't.
(If you were not paying attention, warning: NSFW for language.)

Got it from http://wallbase.net/ which scrapes 4chan.org's wallpaper and high res boards. (NSFW is off by default, but that filter doesn't catch them all.)
I keep getting distracted from my webserver project...
huh? oooh... shiny!

how do you get pacman update?
1. A cron job which executes
pacman -Sy
every hour.
2. The following bash script used with this plasmoid: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=23829.
#!/bin/bash
pacman -Qu > /tmp/packages 2>& 1
N=$(cat /tmp/packages | wc -l)
if [[ $N -eq 0 ]]; then
echo "No updates available"
elif [[ $N -eq 1 ]]; then
echo "1 new package:"
else
echo "$N new packages:"
fi
cat /tmp/packages

Good desktop... Do you mind to share your .conkyrc file? Thank you

Hi there... May I know what the icons in your traybar are? I can only recognize Dropbox...
Hi nanotube09,
I've spent a good amount of time recently customizing my panel icons They are, from left to right, adesk-menu (by the esteemed ADComp, who I met over at #!), Dropbox (which I would have changed if I could...*sigh*), checkgmail (it might be dark in the pic, no new mail), volwheel (a mod of Hanna's (also at #!) theme) and wicd. Thanks for noticing....I can ompload 'em if you want!
Clever Linux quote.

Yep, I noticed the problem with xterm... I don't know why there is this delay! (but for the moment it's not my principal problem because I use urxvt )
For the moment I don't really manage unmanaged window... First I will switch the wm from xlib to xcb (I begin yesterday, but it's painfull )
Btw, if you found other bug, please tell me by mail or add a report on github
Was using xterm temporarily as I experienced a weird issue with urxvt with font spacing, which I solved with letterSpace: -1 resource. So now I am back to the good old urxvtd -q -o -f and urxvtc
I'm on catwm ATM, will surely pull it on a regular basis to track progress. Thanks

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. Bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

@tamtam Very nice setup and the media player on the background looks really cool!
What media player is that?
The software required Windows XP or better, so I installed archlinux.

Using the ArchModern suite.
I just added added hinting to my ~/.bashrc and fonts are glowing now. Hopefully my eyes will forgive me because it's too beautiful to disable. ;_;
Your fonts are perfect! I also use Envy Code R but can't get it quite like that, but very close. I recompiled freetype with Apple and MS patented bits, which improved things. I have Xft settings in .Xdefaults which are mostly used for Google Chrome. I haven't touched my default fonts/conf.d nor do I have fonts.conf in my home directory. Do you?
Especially your 'w' and 'm' letters are better.
Could you expand on your fonts setup?
Here is my current result:

I do but now that I am using KDE it is a little bit of a pain to setup conky. Will give it a try on the weekend. Thanks.

Here is my current result:
I added this to my ~/.Xdefaults:
Xft.antialias: true
Xft.hinting: true
Xft.rgba: rgb
Xft.hintstyle: hintfull
That's it. The only other thing that would affect my fonts would be my DPI setting which defaults to 101x101. I just did a fresh install so I know I haven't changed anything else.

Oh! Yeah, lol. I meant ~/.Xdefaults. I'll correct the previous two posts. Thanks.
