LXC containers will not start @daemons

Noticed today that my LXC containers go through the standard startup process and will start the actual daemons, however backgrounded daemons get killed off.

For instance, lets say I have DAEMONS=(sshd @slapd)

When performing "lxc-start -n container -d", the container will go through rc.sysinit, rc.multi and rc.local.

During rc.multi, I've determined through a few "ps >> /logging" directives, that the slapd daemon will get started. However, once rc.local ends, slapd is no longer active though sshd is still running.

Removing the @ to load the daemon in the foreground will launch both daemons correctly.

Anyone have any clues as to wth is going on ?
