Help setting up polipo

I'm probably missing something simple here. I installed polipo on my arch router by these instructions http://www.pps.jussieu.fr/~jch/software … STALL.text since polipo-git from the AUR wouldn't run properly.

My setup:

/etc/shorewall/rules

REDIRECT        loc             8123            tcp     www
ACCEPT          $FW             net             tcp     www

~/.polipo

proxyAddress = "10.0.0.1"

I can then open up uzbl-browser (on my laptop) to www.archlinux.org and have the polipo web interface. If I open any address with a longer path I get a "not found" error. I have chowned /var/cache/polipo and /var/log/polipo.log to my username. What is wrong here?
