I notice this in the KDE 3.4 wiki:
==> Kdesdk has been built with support for Subversion.
==> If you want to use this feature use the following pacman command:
==> 'pacman -S subversion'
I did a Google on 'kde subversion' and only find stuff about how to install it, makes it work right, etc. But nothing on what it is.

Description : Replacement for CVS, another versioning system

If you are not a programmer, you probably don't need it. Otherwise it could be of help. I always wanted to learn to use CVS or RCS or subversion, but was always too lazy to do it. So I'm still using just good old tar... manual work

Thanks. I'm not a programmer, so I'll skip it.

It's not restricted to programmers. If you have text files (.html, script, personal PKGBUILD) that are modified frequently, it might interest you. I've used CVS a while ago for a project then I stopped using it and forgot how it works. It's easy to use ounce you are familiar with it.
