Problem with Prism-card

Hi there.

I recently set up a computer where i put in a Prism54 card.
Before I put it in networking were fine.
Now, the only interface I can see is the "lo" interface.

Here is the dmesg WITHOUT the card in:

Re: Problem with Prism-card

Without the prism54 device, eth0 is your wired nic, and everything's rosy. With the card attached, however, your wired nic moves to eth1, the prism54 device become eth0, and it fails to operate because you have not installed the required firmware.

Re: Problem with Prism-card

Okay thanks smile But how do I fix it? :S I cannot seem to FIND the firmware :S The site that the wiki is linking to does not work.

Re: Problem with Prism-card

There's an isl3890 package in the AUR - see if that works.

Also, FYI - I used a prism54 device a while ago, and I had to blacklist the legacy prism54 driver and use the more up to date p54pci
