Oh, and here's an updated screenshot with what conky will look like:

There are still lots of things I need to do. I'm having a lot of weird bugs with certain applications like Firefox opening up on the wrong screen (even though it shows up on the tasklist of the other screen).
Looks awesome. hehehehe. But really, it looks good, maybe some more greens of the same colour as your website in there as well, I love that colour.
Thanks!
Yeah, I still need to work out my color scheme -- during the morning, I get a lot of sun, so my screens get all washed out and it's hard to see (and I feel bad about closing the shade). So, I need to use more contrast in my color schemes.

Saw this thread again today and thought I'd post another screenshot.
The conky setup shown is just one of the conky setups I've got sitting around. It's not my favorite one of the setups I've made, but it shows the most information. ^^;
I'd be happy to post a little bit of that conky setup if anyone wants it. Especially the MPD portion. I know a lot of people have asked me for that part before.

Like the conky .... but is that a Gentoo "g" logo for the repositories?

After a long time with openbox and gtk apps, first steps with i3 and cli apps:
It's a pretty basic setup and I still have to learn and configure a lot of things but I like it so far and I start to understand why tiling wms and cli programs are so widespread among arch users.
Colours are clearly stolen from jasonwryan (many thanks!), and yes, the wallpaper seems to perfectly match them.
Let me know what do you think of it!
