Well, I've been using my laptop as an experimental ground for new configurations and here is my attempt to switch to Awesome on my desktop after some configuration (mostly keybindings and stuff).

There are still lots of things I need to do.  I'm having a lot of weird bugs with certain applications like Firefox opening up on the wrong screen (even though it shows up on the tasklist of the other screen).

Looks awesome. hehehehe. But really, it looks good, maybe some more greens of the same colour as your website in there as well, I love that colour.

Thanks!

Yeah, I still need to work out my color scheme -- during the morning, I get a lot of sun, so my screens get all washed out and it's hard to see (and I feel bad about closing the shade).  So, I need to use more contrast in my color schemes.

Re: April 2010 screenshots

After a long time with openbox and gtk apps, first steps with i3 and cli apps:

41122990294143666917_thumb.jpg

41039825970725780089_thumb.jpg

It's a pretty basic setup and I still have to learn and configure a lot of things but I like it so far and I start to understand why tiling wms and cli programs are so widespread among arch users.
Colours are clearly stolen from jasonwryan (many thanks!), and yes, the wallpaper seems to perfectly match them.

Let me know what do you think of it! smile
