there are some torrent files that i want to keep around (just in case there is a portion of the file list that becomes relevant, note that these would be classified as "incomplete" since there are items in the file list that were not downloaded by my choice) but i dont know which those are when i clean ./watch out of necessity (it would be too cumbersome to manage rtorrent with so many to scroll through (aforementioned "incomplete" include those mentioned before and those i am actually downloading files for currently). therefore i would like to know if there is a way to get rtorrent to ditch the files i remove from ./watch somewhere else, either interactively from within rtorrent (it is totally confusing to try and remember which files are downloading in whatthefuckwasion.torrent when wading through ./watch in the filesystem by hand) or non-interactively by configuration or hack. TIA1

If I understand you correctly (see below), you are already removing files from your watch directory manually, so all you have to do is use mv instead of rm when doing so.
Off-topic advice - your post is very difficult to understand due to a lack of punctuation. It would help others to help you if you fixed that.
