Intel 5100 can't find the interface

Using the latest kernel with a Intel 5100 card I'm getting these errors. I can't load the module (sometimes) and when I can load it, the interface doesn't show up with ifconfig -a

Linux koi 2.6.33-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Apr 26 20:00:20 CEST 2010 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7250 @ 2.00GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

The iwlagn is loaded. and this is 32bit arch
Loading iwlagn makes pan0 show up in ifconfig -a but not wlan0
