The Arch 'A'

What is it? Does it come from something in particular? Or is it just a cool logo. I've always been curious.

There was a contest a while back where different logos were submitted and voted on by the devs (I think, I've forgotten the details). You can probably dig up the old threads were submissions were discussed if you're curious about the other possibilities.

Thayer Williams, from Vancouver designed the logo, it's named "the archer"; the logo was indeed submitted to a contest and won.

Heh. I was looking over my old ideas recently, and that stuck out as one of my favourites too. It's quite an early one, as well. I think I got caught out by that old killer, "not knowing when to stop".
