The problem is: whenever I use "Ctrl+Alt+T" to start a tab in gnome-terminal, or use "Ctrl + T" to start a tab in firefox, the keyboard goes crazy. The key I type does not match what it shows in screen and there is no clear pattern of this kind of wrong mapping..
It happened in Xorg7, and the problem remains after I switched back to Xorg6. Anyone has an idea?
Thanks!

Me too. Looks like the key mappings for the server and the client aren't the same anymore. I'm still looking for a solution

edit :
This seems related, but hasn't solved my problem yet.

I solved it very crudely by
pacman -R freenx
rm -R /opt/NX/*
Pacman -S freenx
I then had to deal with a connection error causing me to install nxcom (not related). Now it's working again.
EDIT
nxcom = nxcomp and seems to be related after all after reading next post

Same here. Uninstalling freenx and installing it again led me to install nxcomp. After installing it it just connected "normal" again, but the keyboard issue persists. Thin clients through NX (using it in fullscreen) can't use either numlock or capslock. Control and alt seem to stay locked with a simple keypress.
Edit: At the late night, while trying to workaround this, I noticed that after trying the former approach, the numpad went on (i.e. the number keys started to work) as if the numlock was on. Strangely, to turn off and on my numlock, didn't cause any effect on the remote computer's numpad state.

I was googling around and I found this:

Someway it seems to be related, but there's no answer from the mantainers.

Well, this is driving me crazy. First, I installed freenx from ABS, without touching anything, no change. After that, I removed the keymap patch: no results again! (or better spoken: same behaviour. Perhaps the patch isn't working?).
Another symptom: Whenever the Alt key (right or left) is pressed, it stays locked. The only way to "unlock" it, is causing the NX window to lose focus (e.g. doing alt+tab to another window, or to the desktop when applicable).
Edit: Between each test, I did a -Rscn to make me sure of doing a clean test.
