samba refuses to start

I've setup samba on other distributions sucessfully in the past.

I cp'd the example configuration and attempted to start samba "/etc/rc.d/samba start"
The script executes but samba isn't started. Running samba in interactive mode reveals that it's not starting at all:

[root@darkstar root]# smbd -i

נכשל בפתיחת / etc / samba / פרטיות / secrets.tdb

pdb_generate_sam_sid: נכשלה החנות שנוצר מכונת SID.
ERROR: סמבה לא יכול ליצור SID SAM
It's a fresh ftp install of arch. the package is from about 10 minutes ago (2.2.8-1, I believe).  Anyone know why i'm getting this error?

i searched google, and found that this error occurs due to hostname change and samba not updating, you should remove the secrets.tdb file (or move it) and then start samba, see if it helps.
