[Solved] ASUS rt73 usb network card
Hello
I installed Arch from 2010.05 core i686 iso, and after that, no wlan0 interface shows up in the ifconfig output. However, iwconfig shows wlan0 interface, dmesg also knows about the card, because it registers led_class devices for it. I installed firmware, the driver is included in kernel, so what's causing problems?

sudo ifconfig wlan0 up
the interface has to be brought up first.

ifconfig -a doesn't show wlan0, ifconfig wlan0 up throws "SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such file or directory".
EDIT:
Apparently, reboot helped. Weird.
