I'd like to see what it looks like before going through the hassle of setting up both wicd and netcfg to see what they look like... I think networkmanager looks the coolest! ![]()

It's a command-line utility, so basically it doesn't have an icon. There's one GUI frontend which also takes care of other Arch-related stuff - there's some icon shown on kde-apps.org. Networkmanager is a daemon - different frontends use different icons.

Cool, thanks for that tidbit Lucke.
That's pretty cool! so ArchAssistant is a front end that will configure and let you use netcfg without commandline!
The only reason I'm wondering about wicd and netcfg is because for some reason my networkmanager won't allow me to connect to a secured connection as a regular user (only as root). So if i can't fix the problem, i might have to try ArchAssistant out!
