configuring eth0

i was wounder how i could configure my eth0 card
on a linux system that was on here before (mandrake) it used the sundance driver for my Dlink-DL10050 based ethernet adapter
how would i go about setting up my eth0 to access internet
im on cable internet.. so my IP is obtained via DHCP
