Cool, thanks haikuhacker! It's amazing! I tried Avant Window Manager, and I must say, Docky is much cleaner.
Haven't tried Cairo Dock yet though.
So far i've got my desktop all FXed out and Docky . I'm still using the GTK window decorator instead of Emerald because i haven't taken the time to find a nice theme. I really like GTK Clearlooks (Gnome's new default.) .
But yeah, Docky is amazing!

OK, so check THIS out.
Gnome Do (pacman -S gnome-do) also has a version of Docky included (select docky theme in prefs). It's really cool because it has all the extra features of Docky plus the amazing gnome-do features! It's by far more powerful than Docky by its self, but not as many style options as docky by its self.
Go ahead and check it out!

I can't wait for Docky 2, where all features of Gnome Do will be fully re-integrated with all of Docky's new features (Docky split from Do into it's own project, as you might find out by googling).

Docky is at 2.0 already. How much integration you find the most "powerful" is a matter of personal preference, I like it separated - docky as taskbar and DO as launcher. Not sure which features are missing that way, the only difference is DO showing up in its own window I think.
P.S.: there is an edit button

oh, woops. Where is this "edit" button?
So can gnome-do be integrated into Docky 2.0 and how? I really like that transformation of the app launcher to the search tool when you press super+space.
