What layout out does evdev-managed use?
On my xfced4 it is using the wrong one (after an update, before the update the correct one, de_CH-latin1 was used.)

archlinux on a Gigabyte C1037UN-EU, 16GiB
a Promise  PDC40718 based ZFS set
root on a Samsung SSD PB22-J
running LogitechMediaServer(-git), Samba, MiniDLNA, TOR

Search the forums. This has been posted before.

You need to set you xkbmap in your xorg.conf or in a file and place that file under /etc/xorg.conf.d
