Archwiki upkeep roulette scheme

I was thinking today about a method of bringing more participants, better peer review, and better general maintenance of the Achwiki. Not that there is anything wrong in particular, but because it is the linchpin of the distro and I think could use a more visible mechanism of upkeep.  This does not constitute a "project" so it won't require a head or create an unfair workload and sink like other ideas (I hope).   So simply here is the idea:

I (or really anyone) will hit the "random page" button on the wiki (hence the roulette) and post the link in a thread here (forum mods could comment on the actual best implementation here. A sticky? ). The page is read,reviewed and perhaps modified if needed. When the lifespan of the thread is deemed over it is marked closed and we fire again. Simple huh?   Comments?

@karol The users of the wiki and readers of the forums...you may have noticed us but judging by your comment I suppose not.

Is it really an insurmountable task to read a forum page and comment? If so please lock this thread as I am clearly insane smile

Re: Archwiki upkeep roulette scheme

This would be a never ending process for any particular wiki link for a multitude of reasons.
1) The wiki could be updated outside of the said thread.
2) The application to which the wiki page refers could be modified which could warrant a bunch of changes
3) mal-intent

Whether or not it's "official", that sounds like fun! Especially for those long boring Thursday afternoons at work... wink

@drcouzelis

Ahh...positivity! Concerning being "official" I don't think that's a concern as doing the business in the forum is completely transparent.  If you have a concern or want to make a comment by all means chime in. That's the point...and opening up the forum users knowledge base.
