Interesting things to try?

Hello everyone! Hi have tried a lot of distros and distro+desktop environment combinations.
Now I have some free time and I would like to install some stuff
What interesting things can I try? What do you recommend?

Sorry for my English! smile

TeXLive, especially from testing (check the bug reports first)

enable testing and update all packages. You could be of great help to the devs by reporting the bugs if any. smile

Install some random game you've never heard of. That's very fun. Enable the arch gaming repo and install splumber. It really is great.....:)

EDIT: seriously though, it is fun (not splumber, installing random rubbish). You could do some benchmarks on your machine or something with phoronix text suite.
