Tomcat installation

I need help installing tomcat... the directions on the wiki to download it does not work... All ideas will be helpful

The problem is ftp.archlinux.org/incoming/ is down until April.  This was covered on the mailing list.  Try downloading it tomorrow.

alright, but when i issue the comman tar xfvz tomcat-4.1.27-1.tar.gz.
I get no such folder.
Any ideas of what i'm doing wrong ?

Your options are out of order. f should be the last one:
tar xzvf tomcat-4.1.27-1.tar.gz

can someone show me where I can find a tutorial on installing tomcat in my arch box.  I saw the one in wiki but it doesn't work.  thanks
