Sometimes not connecting to a network

Hi there,

I'm puzzled with some networks of the university, I'm using wicd, and sometimes it does not connect to the networks, when this happens if I reboot and try to connect from windorz I have no problem, any clues?

Thanks

Re: Sometimes not connecting to a network

I find that sometimes wicd won't immediately connect to a new network - but if I connect manually, wicd will pick up the connection if it drops or if I reconnect sometime later.

Try connecting manually and see if that helps (at least you may avoid a reboot).
