Any way to prevent access point regulatory domain updates?

Hi-

I've installed Arch on a new laptop which has an Intel Pro Wireless 3945 adapter.  I've edited /etc/conf.d/wireless-regdom to set my domain to GB, and added wireless-regdom to my DAEMONS.  After boot, I can issue "iw reg get" and see GB as the domain.

However, when I connect to a network and then check dmesg, I see something like this every time:-

cfg80211: Calling CRDA for country: NL
cfg80211: Current regulatory domain updated by AP to: NL

(It then lists the frequencies and other details)

The above is at home, where I have a Belkin router.  In the office we have a Draytek, and there the domain is set to TW. 

This does actually seem to be causing me connection problems.  Do access points generally hand out the wrong information about domain?  If so, how can I prevent my system from updating to it?  My other Arch laptop with an almost identical installation has an ipw2200 and it does not do this.
