Help with bittorrent

I'm using Azureus and I am behind a router. I get these errors when I run it, and they keep repeating:

java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address
        at sun.nio.ch.Net.bind(Native Method)
        at sun.nio.ch.SocketChannelImpl.bind(Unknown Source)

I have ports 6881-6999 forwarded on my router. All I have isntalled is the base system, X, fluxbox, firefox, etc, I haven't installed a software firewall unless one comes with the base system. Azureus suggests that I set these ports to recieve connections, but my router doesn't have that option. I've used Azureus before in windows and gentoo with this router without any problems. Why am I having trouble conecting?

Re: Help with bittorrent

yes it does, but I can't see what that has to do with the problem.

Anyway, I got it to work. I just had to enable the gateway thingy in rc.conf
