Unfortunately you are wrong.
As long as you first press <tab> before pressing the hint key set in VimNav you can use its hinting feature.
I've already tested it but I was annoyed by always pressing <tab> before which is why I stick with the IMO really bad hinting-script provided on the jumanji homepage.

hi everybody

I asked this 2 pages before but didn't get a respond. In my opinion not every site should store a cookie. When i just writeprotect the cookies file has this the same effect?

Why "unfortunately"?

This <tab> trick is interesting. VimNav hinting in Jumanji really does work this way but I would never have thought of this one. (How did you find out?)

Now to the main question of all: Why does it do so at all? (And don't answer 42!) I have no idea yet but eventually I might find out. So far I was planning to spend some weekend's spare time to probably get VimNav better integrated in Jumanji (hopefully).

They're hints. Instead of clicking the links (shown in yellow) with a mouse, you press a corresponding number.
Go to a wabpage, press 'f' or 'F' and the hints will appear. It's like speed-dialing.

What karol said. but for it you will need to download the input_hinting_mode.js from pwmt.org>> jumanji >> scripts

Oh and before you ask how to get it working and I have to facepalm myself... you will have to put the following in your jumanjirc

f opens the "hinted" link in the same tab. F opens it in a new tab

That one I am not sure of. But there was a feature request for "gi" being used to go to the first input field a few pages ago in this very thread. Although I don't think neldoreth has implemented that yet.

But the good thing is...you can still use the mouse

Are there any difference between those two computers? Maybe pink is triggered only on i686? ;P
