I have a compaq 515 with broadcom wireless

lspci:

I installed the b43 firmware from AUR

DAEMONS=(@syslog-ng !network dbus netfs @crond @alsa wicd)

iwconfig:

eth0      no wireless extensions.

sudo iwlist wlan0 scan:

wlan0     No scan results

wicd tells me it can't find wireless networks, wired works fine and it's managed with wicd
wireless works right on kubuntu, but not on arch
can anyone help me?
