[SOLVED] how to remove Deadbeef

I installed deadbeef using yaourt, but now I want to remove it. How can I do it? Thanks

You should be able to remove it just like any other package, if you installed it with yaourt...

sudo pacman -Rns deadbeef

pacman -R doesn't work. it gives me this error: "error: 'deadbeef': could not find or read package" That is why I asked this question in the first place.

Well, you should have provided all information in the first place...

Are you sure that it is installed still? If so, do a "pacman -Qo deadbeef" or whatever the main binary is called to see the name of the package it is installed as.

yeah, my bad for not providing all the details. the package name is called deadbeef-git. I've removed it successfully. thanks
