Few Issues

The first issue I have is audio ports on my laptop (which is an Acer Aspire 2930Z). They don't work as they should be, even if you insert the headphone jack in, external sound still plays. The fixes for the 2930 didn't appear to work.

Secondly, also audio related, the 2930Z has a volume wheel which controls volume. How can I get it to work under Arch?

Finally, I'm using XFCE4 and I'd like to use the Albatross theme. Unfortunately the theme doesn't work correctly. I don't know if this a problem with the XFCE version though.

Check if the wheel returns any keycodes and keysyms using xev (most likey XF86AudioRaiseVolume and XF86AudioLowerVolume). You can then use those keycodes, to set up your volume changer.
