[fixed]Thunar not updating.

Thunar doesn't recognize changes made, even within itself.  I have to close and reopen it to see any changes I've made.  For example, if I drag a file from one directory to another, it doesn't show up in the new directory until I have closed/opened.  I'm clearly missing something here.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have hal running ?

thunar still depends on hal, so if you do not use it, you might see weird behavior like this.

Hal is installed and running, and its set in rc.conf.

Do you have fam or gamin installed? And if you use fam, make sure its running (its a daemon).

Starting fam fixed it, thank you for the help.
