wireless access point

Hi, I have an old wifi router which freezes a lot. And I have found D-link wireless G USB adapter. I want to connect it to my archlinux server and make it act as an wireless router or access point. can you please point out which project I should follow, or just give me any advice regarding this matter? Or possibly any web based settings for the AP (I'm not the only one, who's gonna be using it). thanks.

Re: wireless access point

nope, I need something independent of card. I've checked and the card can act in master, infrastructure and ad-hoc modes. All the projects I've google depend on certain type of card. for example the arch wiki entry...
