[Solved] Copy from cli to uzbl with no mouse

I'm am trying to find out how to copy text from the cli to uzbl, without using my mouse.

I can use

command |xclip

to copy.  However, I don't know how to paste it into uzbl without using middle click.

Thank you for your time and effort,

I am not sure if this works in uzbl, but have you tried

Shift + Insert

You can also use

Shift + Delete

to copy.

Re: [Solved] Copy from cli to uzbl with no mouse

Yes, I did indeed try that.  However it did not work at first.  This was because my keybaord is weird (laptop keybaord).  It's not a regular qwerty, so the insert button was supposed to be coupled with the delete button so that I could alternate between them with shift.  The default layout wasn't like this so I had to use xmodmap to rearrange my keys into a way that I could use shift+insert without losing any keys which I find vital.  I just realized this after trying to do control+shift again.  It's been a while since I've used a desktop keyboard, so I forgot that a regular keyboard has a key dedicated to both insert and delete.

It works fine now.

Thanks again for your help,
