Re: Update of FluxBB

Is it me or is the favicon gone from the page now (as in the firefox address bar no longer shows the arch logo next to URL)?

also had to re-login after being away for a few hours, though i had the box to "remember me" checked.  testing again when i can after deleting the archlinux.org cookie.  as someone else said previously, i had to change my password the first time too.

I was using a stylish css but i disabled it and restarted ff, thinking that was why, but still no favicon.

I can see the favicon while using the default theme only.

Re: Update of FluxBB

Any display style except ArchLinux, doesn't show the top navigation menu bar and the links for Home Packages Forums Wiki Bugs AUR Download.

Is there any way that the other styles could also show the top navigation menu bar?

They are just links, so you can use e.g. your browser's bookmarks.
But yeah, I know what you mean.

Yeah. I had the bbs, aur and wiki search in my jumanji bookmarks /search engines already. I guess I will have to put Bugs and Home page in there as well -- just in case I need to visit those pages sometimes.

I do like the ArchLinux theme - don't get me wrong- its just that I prefer darker themes, so cobalt goes really well with the desktop theme that I am currently using.

Re: Update of FluxBB

I sometimes get the case where i click on "Show new posts since last visit", it shows me the list and everything's fine, except one or a few of the threads with new posts won't have the link "New Posts" behind them (So i either have to open the last page or click on the last post link to the right). I don't think i have seen a pattern in this yet.
(I made a screenshot if need be).

Ogion

EDIT: (Oh and yes, always after opening the threads that i'm interested in from the "Show new since last visit" page i do mark all threads read..)

Same here, the loss of the navbar in alternate themes is a pain.  Maybe there should be one alternate dark theme that does include the navbar, maybe call it... "Archlinux Dark"

Re: Update of FluxBB

I didn't realize as well that those are help links despite of the question mark icons. I always assumed they were switches only.
A short note would be in order.

Intuitively I wanted the question mark icons lead to the help page and the text links lead to the according setup page.

A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away the hyperlinks were blue and underlined.

Blue they are. But not very intuitive in this very case.

Edit: And they switch to grey underlined on mouse hovering.
