How is there no easy calendar sharing server ?

Just spent a few hours trying to configure horde and kronolith. It's the worst. I can't even tell what version I should be using.

Try setting up webcalendar it is very easy* to configure.

*You need to set up a LAMP server in order to use it.

Re: How is there no easy calendar sharing server ?

We use davical here at the office (Debian-based). Very easy: You only need Apache and PostgreSQL (and the PDO extensions). A big plus is that it is actively developed and the main dev has started on supporting CardDAV as well. He is also very active on the mailing list. A (read-only) webcalendar is also available, but maintained by another dev.

There are .deb-packages available, so making a PKGBUILD shouldn't be that big of a deal (I guess)

I know this does not help, but....

There is also bongo

I have the packages in AUR. However, it does not work with gcc 4.5. I have emailed the devs and am waiting until they fix it.
