I like this a lot. Is that conky running on the right side of the screen? How are you getting those nice graphs?
Thanks.

Yep, you're right. And thanks for using "bog standard". I think I'd heard it before, but I'd not seen it in writing. That gave me something to look up.

Nice and dry.
Sorry, not using KDE at the mo so I'm not able to give precise info. But I do have the widget on my desktop - the very same - and I am pretty sure I did not have to install it separately. So just go through the system widgets and you will invariably come across it.
HTH a little more

Got it now, thanks. All set up just the way I want it (at least for a few weeks, fickle human that I am).

What icon theme do you use (in the tray)?
hehe funny
I guess you've not installed KDE 4.5 since those icons are the DEFAULT icons in KDE 4.5 for the system tray.
Now go install KDE 4.5

Me again!
Brand new Quad Core CPU and new Conky!

Big thank to Cookie for the conkyrc!
Can I please have the conkyrc & the name of the plasma theme?
Is it better to run that conky or just use some of the widgets provided in KDE?

Of course! There you go!! conky-2010-08-25.tar.gz
The plasma theme I use is UniQ.

It's up to you. I prefer conky but others prefer KDE widgets like SuperKaramba.

From the small picture, it looks like clearlooks to me, which can be set in "Appearances".

which one? My default wallpaper is Quandros from Nuno Pinheiro (the guy who made all of the oxygen icons). It should be found in kdeartwork-wallpapers or here: http://sharebee.com/c3a3eb5d

Unfortunately I don't have a motherboard with ACC, but even if I did, I am not sure if you can unlock the Phenom 1 processors. Just the Phenom II's I believe.
