navigation keys not working in gmail/firefox

I just noticed that that arrow keys and the Tab keys alteast do not work once I hit the "Reply" or "Reply to All" in gmail.

I haven't used firefox in quite a while since I am a happy camper with jumanji but has anyone else experienced this?

The keys work as expected in chromium and jumanji. Is there any solution?
