Arch doesn't run on ARM, you need to try ArchMobile http://www.archmobile.org/ (it's for 'mobile devices').

First off, calm down.
Second you need to give us more details about your machine. A spec sheet if available. If its and arm processor, Arch won't run on it.
Third , are you trying to install Arch linux on it or EasyPC Linux? If Arch, have you read the Beginner's Guide on our wiki ?
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

it's easypc linux and android i tried. They are both for arm processors. It's an easypc 7inch laptop and it's specs are samsung arm926, with a 2gb solid state nand. The ram is 256mb. I just can't seem to do anything with it. thank you for trying to help

Most Linux distros won't run on that processor. This is the Arch forum and we try to provide support for the Arch Linux, not for easypc linux and not for Android. Try asking for help on their forums.

Besides all the arguments above, Arch certainly isn't the right place to learn linux - and even less so on ARM. If you don't know how to set up an ext2 partition from Windows, you should stick to whatever came with it (if anything). If you want to run wine, why not get a regular netbook? Most of those run windows out of the box...
I also modified your topic title so it actually mentions the problem at hand and a bit less your state of despair.

Apparently it's a MenQ EasyPC 790.
I was kind of excited about the thought of cheap ARM based netbooks being released. Then I read about all of the compatibility problems between different types of ARM processors their supporting hardware and became not so excited. I suppose it will be some time before we are able to buy a nice easy to use Linux laptop with an ARM processor.

Staylor mentioned Windows CE, not Wine.

My bad - I misread wince for wine. A typo or incorrect use of uppercase/lowercase quickly creates confusion .
