why STILL i dont know, but until now, it was for pkgs testing i think, and as told above, it seems that for over a week there werent any other issues... so i think it wont take much longer until its in official.

the first reason for the delay was the lack of time of the official gnome mantainer.
please hold up a little more, we are doing the best we can as devel team and everybody seems to be pretty busy these days..
btw i have just one issue with gnome24, my splash-screen doesn't dissapear until i click it.. before (with gnome22) the splash-screen closes automagically, anyone knows why? fixes?

No, I never got things to work with Xinerama.
The panel wouldnt even build with it enabled, and Metacity still has crappy Xinerama support.
Honestly, its amazing how well XFCE4 handles Xinerama, KDE and GNOME should definitly take a page from Mr.Fourdan.

If Xinerama is important to you (like it is to me), than no, I dont recommend it.
That, and GNOME is still too bloated for me. Though Nautilus is nice.

My system start working properly with gnome 2.4 + xinerama (no changes was made to conf after upgrade after gnome 2.2), but in some moment gnome freeze, y restart the sessions and sourprise, it's not working (the xinerama stuff). Some knows how to fix it? (also going back to gnome 2.2, but i mean ANOTHER solution 
)
