Hi
I'm trying to automount a filesystem (ntfs) so a normal user can use it (it's a single user system, so just a user and not a group would be fine)
How would I do this?

There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

Thank you, I just followed the beginner's guide and I didn't know about the NTFS 3G driver

Is this a internal disc btw? If so I would just permamount it.

Yes it is.
My partition table looks like this:
W7:40GB:NTFS (OS files)
arch:25GB:etx (OS files)
Data:400GB:NTFS (General data, symlinked /home/tim and /Users/Tim/My Documents
I'll look into permamounting

Sorry misread your original post as if you wanted to mount it as a user.
Anyway, just use ntfs-3g and look at the uid/gid/fmask/dmask/umask mount options
The quick and unsecure way is to simply mount it with umask=0000
