My college campus internet access is through a squid proxy server which requires authentication. Recently they switched over to the more secure digest authentication. I used to run polipo locally with squid as the parent and polipo provides the authentication details to squid and therefore I do not need to provide the authentication details each time and in each application. But, polipo does not support digest authentication. Can someone suggest some other proxy server which supports digest authentication?
