Not much of a problem, but i was just umcompressing a file with xarchiver and decided to cancel the process. Which logged me out to slim closing everything but mpd which also runs as a user process. I thought it was a funky multitasking issue, but when i tried to reproduce it. It yeilds the same results everytime.. Its not a big deal as i dont usually cancel uncompression processes much. I just thought it was notable and funny, ie... mental note; dont do that again!

Well, I would suggest that you do it again !
Then look at the Xorg log and see what went wrong. Paste it here or in pastebin (if too long) as well.

Look into Xorg.0.log.old also. It can be a Xorg crash. If X restarts, it probably renames Xorg.0.log to Xorg.0.log.old.

Yea, checked that too. I should have noted that those lines where in both, after crashing it loggin back in crashing it again and using terminal from slim. Its not really a huge issue as i dont habitually cancel decompressions. but rather odd, no crash that i can tell. its almost like canceling it executes exit somehow.
