Questions about lftp usage

Hi everyone!

I'm using lftp for my connections because it supports multithreaded transfers , meaning i can get full speeds but i have a few questions .

How is it possible to pause/resume a transfer ?

How can i transfer a directory with all the files inside using the pget command (i' ve tried mirror but it didn't work)

And can i stop the transfers and close the application withouth going into the background?

If anyone could help me out that would be great
