Can't get ndiswrapper to work with D-Link DWL-G510

For some reason, only on ARCH linux does the lspci command return faulty hardware information about my wireless network card (D-Link DWL-G510 revision A). On every other distribution it is correctly returned as:

Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. Marvell w8300 802.11 adapter.

I have never been able to get this card working with ARCH (using ndiswrapper), but on 3 other distros I've tried it takes me about 2 minutes to get it working. It's getting really frustrating because I prefer ARCH over the others except for this problem. The scripts in the wiki don't seem to work for me. The system just hangs.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

OK, I got it thanks. For some reason, when I copied the scripts from the wiki a space was put in between #! and /bin/sh on the first line so the script didn't run. It's really hard to tell if there are spaces at that position in the sample scripts.
