Hello,
After reading this: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sys … h_eCryptfs
I put some directories I want to encrypt in ~/Private
and I also want to protect my Firefox data (bookmarks, passwords, etc...) So I did:
$ mv ~/.mozilla ~/Private/mozilla
$ ln -s ~/Private/mozilla ~/.mozilla
I then boot from a live-cd distro (here, Linux Mint) to see if my data is really encrypted into my hdd.
So from my live-cd, I was able to browse my HDD (Arch Linux) and
I found ~/Private was blocked (because it is not mounted, so its normal) but if I see ~/.Private directory,
I was able to see all my "encrypted" data!!!
Did I forget something ? I know it should not be like that!
Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad English.
Edit: Nervermind. I started over and works now...
