Bluetooth Tethering

So I went to OS X for a while and I am liking it a lot. Besides the configuration at the time of installation, I've had no problems with the OS. 99% of the hardware works.

I want to go back to Arch soonbut several things are holding me back. Tetheringis one of them.

I have a regular S40 nokia, but with 3G. In OS X, I just pair them in bluetooth, enter my 3G account, and bam - I have tethering. Will it be this simple in Arch? There are only a couple of articleson iPhone and Android, but I don't use those phones (why use smartphone if I have laptop?)

Is bluetooth tethering in Arch as simple as pairing and logging in as well? It's one of the things holding me back from returning to Arch.
